"Tablets und Smartphones mit vorinstallierter Schadsoftware
Das BSI warnt vor Smartphones und Tablets der Hersteller Ulefone, Blackview und Krüger & Matz. Auf den Geräten ist Schadsoftware vorinstalliert."News from germany: Ulefone, Blackview and Krüger&matz were checked and have often malware preinstalled to steal userdata. That would at least explain why blackview doesnt want anyone to see their code and doesnt make the bv8000 open source. because then everyone would have already known...
imagine the money they would need to pay the american market if some people collectively sue them, if any of the userdata gets out...

Rearly alarming news from German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
Only a A 10 by Blackview was tested and malware was found in firmware which contacts an known command-and-control-server.
This server is used to steal data from user equipment.
How safe are our privacy and our data on Blackview phones? (beside missing patches and updates ?)

Guys, this no more than a fake new, at least for Blackview phones. It's so silly that it shouldn't even need a reply, but anyway... that's my reply.
"For the two other models (-blackview and ulephone), the malware was not found on currently sold models, but the manufacturers' websites contain malware firmware images".
Sure, so they found the malware in a firmware stored in our "manufacture website" for a single model, one of the oldest and cheapest phone we released. C'mon.
I'm laughting, and this is because firmwares directly released by us (via OTA or MEGA download links) are 100% malware free.
BUT we can't guarantee that 3rd party, backup, russian, custom and so on firmwares will be malware free aswell, as you can obviously understand.
Everybody screaming about the malwares, but not thinking about the biggest data collector malwares as Facebook, Microsoft, Google (android also).....
The German Federal Office for Information Security... Where was it when Diesel gate stroke?
Guys, I highly suggest you to stop flying with your mind and keep your feet on the floor.
This thread is also misplaced, as we are under the OREO SERVICE AND TECH forum subsection.

Dear Admin,
hope you enjoyed the official warning of authority for IT security in Germany.
Thats not what I expected as the reply from a manufacturer.
Do you also laugh with all your colleagues from the "tech team" about all the customers which are complaining about missing patches and security updates? I´m afraid you do.
Okay, once tried Blackview, never again. That´s not the way I wants to be treated as a costumer.

Thanks.
BTW: My 9500pro will take it´s way to ebay.

Dear Admin.
Why should we, the customers believe you on this malware issue, when you have proven that you cannot be trusted on the Oreo release date?
Regards

P.S.: the "russian" ROM did what blackview never did: deliver an stable, usable, almost perfect oreo Rom. the way that blackview treated us, with lies and false promisses only shows that we never going to buy a blackview phone again.
