Bluetooth on off

I have an allcall smart watch. It connects with my bv8000 pro just fine. However when I switch off the Bluetooth on the phone the watch remains connected and continues communicating with the phone unless I restart the phone.

ok, can anybody else confirm such behaviour with bluetooth devices?

I can't confirm, but I was the same problem with Android 7 and I went to settings}localization}3dots}research}and disabler the two options that are Bluetooth and wifi high precision.
Then it worked.

Oreo and samsung u-flex audio are doing great. Switch off/on works normally.
