Hey
Do you also be able to turn on the camera and take pictures with your phone locked? When I turn on the screen but do not lock the phone with my finger, I can start the camera and take pictures and record videos. it seems to me that it should not be so. Sometimes my camera starts running in my pocket by accident.

The saddest thing of all is that there are OTA updates on an unofficial ROM and still no official updates.

well at least it shows there's actually still someone who works on it, which is more than we've seen (not just being told by admin) the last year since the oreo rom launched

I've been writing here since the beginning that support is not ended. As you can see, tech team is still working on BV8000 Pro (as i stated many times), but only in a slower way ;)

yeah, but we have seen no proof of that whatsoever, 1 patch for an unofficial rom is like slowing down 99%

It is an official ROM update via OTA. Trust it, nothing to fear ;) and please remember to perform a factory reset after each update to avoid weird issues.

I have updated to android 8 trought "Local update" and since that time there is a lot of bug. Can I expect a notification for that new OTA update or do I need update to the russian rom before ?
Thanks

OTA updates can't be predicted, unfortunately.
If the Oreo ROM doesn't suit your need you should consider reflashing the more stable Nougat one.

Almost stable nougat. Security patch 5 July 17. A decent company would have us on Android 9 now. Poor effort blackview.
