Didn't succeed with installing Google camera either, tried many versions, those that installed just showing black screen.

If you want to take good photos you have to try other third part apps, like Open Camera, Footej Camera or FV-5 Camera.

I´m using often the Bacon Camera app.
This one has the option to manually focus the picture . must say it works great for me so far

Tried all these apps, still have blurred pictures of bad quality (noticed that pictures mostly blurred on the right side, what's that?  ) 
Best results was with FV-5 Camera, but it usually says like "camera doesn't support autofocus", again, what?   
Devil dared me to update to Oreo, camera was working almost perfect (not to mention battery drain & other bugs)

Thanks, that's useful app, haven't seen manual focus for camera app!
But it doesn't help me so far, even if picture is sharp in preview, it will go out blurred :/

This issue has apparently been outstanding for nearly three months. I can't imagine Apple or Samsung leaving their customers with such a bad ROM for so long.

We aren't perfect, but neither them. Fix for bugs will come, don't worry.
