After Oreo update battery drain very fast and fast charging is completely gone.

you guys should have waited for the OTA upgrade wich is cutomised for your phone. Local update is a bad idea

Hello Admin, we facing problem due to battery drain and fast charging issue, Please we request before any other just solve this issue and send update so we can hold for further issue. our phones running like a person have breathing problem.

I know you say be patient but I think we have been. The time taken to fix this bug suggests either a lack of resources i.e your programmers are working on other projects. A lack of knowledge i.e you don't know how to fix this bug. Or just a lack of care for your existing customers. If it's none of these I would welcome a different explanation. The other issues we can wait for a fix but this is the big one that is leaving us very frustrated.

Guys, i know that the developement of the Oreo fixes doesn't look as the fastes.... but i remember you that you can revert back to the fully working Android 7 ROM when you want. Tech team is working on a fix, as always it will come when ready.

You're just dodging... If you care about customers, why don't you release the source code? Then, you have nothing to loose about it, and averyone will be happy.

I accept I could go back to android 7 but it's a lot of effort if a fix is close. Unfortunately we don't know if the fix is hours or years away so we can't make an informed decision.

The best thing is to go back to android 7 is tedious because you have to back up all the information, everything will be erased as when installing android 8 and install all your apps again but at the moment it is the best option if you like I can do the tutorial to return to 7 explained in detail the steps to follow as apparently I arrived too early

first the answer for oreo was "when it's done" for months, then this one buggy build was released and only a few people dared to used it as it causes a lot of problems. All of which "the dev team is aware of", but for almost 3 months no new release has been put out and that makes over half a year of waiting for a stable build on a phone that has already been replaced with a newer model so I'm afraid a bugfree oreo release will never happen.
In the meanwhile security updates on nougat are lagging behind for over a year, as no more work is done on that rom, so we're basically in a dead zone here
