Hi.
Also the second method fails. After fresh download, the update fails to verify after 22.1 seconds. This happens to two files and with different location on SD card. Downloaded using Mega app. See that one other user also has a no-go.

Hi all, I just performed the local update and seems to work fine. Used the first method.
The version number showing on my phone is 20180627-1612... this is different from the 20180629 showing in the file name. Any feedback about that?
Other than that, I have found no other major issues. Although the back button returned to be very unresponsive with several apps. This bad behavior was mitigated in the recent updates, but now it seems like it got worse again.

Cheers!

Hi !

I did uptdate my phone to 8.0 ( with recovery method, needed to do it twice because did'nt work the first time)

Work pretty good but :

- Photos are very blur with any apps
- Some apps are not yet compatible with this version, like my bank app
- Oreo is suppose to be more economic with the battery but for the moment it's consume it more rapidly than 7.0

So i flash back to 7.0 waiting for some improvement of this version

Thank you to be aware for your costumers !

Cause the opinions i'm reading...Is it reliable to update to 8.0? . Or Is it better wait for corrections that make more operable and functional the update to OREO?

And why does no one write about the fact that the LED backlight of the touch keys does not work at all !? or does everyone work?

1)This is perhaps the very first serious problem that immediately catches the eye

2) if you go to the settings / system / for developers / memory

then the settings take off with an error (this error only appears on the Russian localization)

Hello, I hope I have posted my post and I apologize for any errors. I used the Google translator. Yesterday, using the local update, I installed android 8, I did a wipe. The phone goes quite well, it just does not light the navigation buttons, it does not work fast charging, and as somebody wrote in the developer menu, it drops the settings after clicking on the memory.
