Gmail is always crashing

Hi, I can't open Gmail since a week. It's always crashing when I click on the icon and says: "Gmail got closed" (in German). What's wrong? I need my emails on my phone. I already restartet the phone, reinstalled all the apps, but without success. Please help me!

Hi there. A total factory reset (=total wipe) will solve your issue.

Thankx for the fast answer. I did that but the problem reappeared. Should I try it another time?

Try it from the recovery menu.
viewtopic.php?f=192&t=334922After the wipe don't restore your phone backup from Google but start from scratch.
Don't install any app and try only Gmail.
