[Tracked] Problem with spontaneous crashes and restarts

Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:54 am

I just got my new BV9000Pro a week ago, and experience problems with spontaneous restarts and crashes (roughly 4-5 times daily), regardless of which network I'm on (3G/4G and/or WiFi.) The bug report I've created suggest that the problem may be with the the finger sensor or its software. Anyone else who experience this? Is this known by Blackview, and will there be any SW out soon that will fix this?

I can not reproduce this with my testing device. Which Firmware version are you using?

It is a massive problem in BV8000 pro (see forum) and in Android 7 generally...

Since I have no issues like that on my device please try if this will be solved by a factory reset

Hello,

I got the same problem sometime it reboot 2-3 time a day or not at all during 3 days. Most annoying part is when the screen stay black and the blue led blink but you can't turn on the phone screen and have to force reboot. will take a video next time.

Can be annoying when you set an alarm clock and your phone is "frozen" like that ...

Also time to time the bluetooth is "lagging" the music start to stutter then the bluetooth lost the device connection (tried with 2 bluetooth device the same problem occur but other phones doesn't have any) have to full reboot the phone to fix it ...

on android 7.1.1 and BV9000pro_blackview-V1.1_20171215_20171215-1716

Hi!

I now got a new BV9000 Pro HD phone. Yes: I did the mistake and bought another Blackview device.
The problem remains.
However, I have found a workaround. Set the phone to 3G only mode, and now the problem with restarts have vanished. The problem seem to be with some of the LTE features (perhaps VOLTE?) Or cell reselection / power save parameters.
The issue is now that I have an 3G only phone. Admin: Will this be fixed in an future update? And, you stated 6 MONTHS ago that Android 8 will be available soon?? When is it coming out?? / Unsatisfied customer
