Where and how should I insert the SIM card?

At the top of the phone, there is a SIM slot covered with a metallic grid. Should I remove this metallic part?
Is it somewhere else?

There is a "tool" in your phones box which you can use - or try a opened paperclip. Push it in the hole next to the metallic part. Maybe you have to try a bit to hit the button inside. If you press this button the matallic part is lifted a bit an can be pulled out of its place. Remember the position of the marking on the plate to insert it back in the correct way.
