[Workaround] BV9000 Pro Setup wizard crash

Mon Feb 05, 2018 2:43 pm

Hello,
I got my new BV 9000 pro but I can't start up the phone.
I followed the steps in order to get the phone ready, but the setup wizard crashes every time i try.
If i put in a Micro SD card, i can reach all the settings. I looked for the Upgrade at the settings "about phone" but there is nothing new. If i leave the settings the setup wizard start and crashed again.
What can i do ??? This is a brand new Phone and i can`t understand why this can happened.

Thank you in advance

Regards Stefan

hello,
please tell us your firmware veision.
and please try to do as follows:
disable all the wi-fi connections in the radius of the phone (because from the phone the wi-fi can not be disconnected), skip the procedure for the SIM, at this point it will ask you if you want to continue without connections and yes, do not enter the name and surname to give the phone a name, accept the Google / Android agreements, at this point the phone will be activated, no update is necessary via OTA if you have the BV9000 PRO-F phone (full HD version). There are two versions of this PRO series phone, the BV9000 PRO (not full HD) and the BV9000 PRO-F (full HD).
I hope this solution will work for you too.

I had the same problem, i disconnected the Wifi Router and then i start the mobile and skip all until the name i have to write in.Then the mobile starts and i came to the homescreen. So some Models have a non working setup wizard. After you are at the Homescreen, try to syncronice from the old mobile with help of the "My Phone Explorer".Or set up the mobile like you had no other before.

Blackview, a mess you didn´t tell from the beginning....

Please try the following after switching on:
- Skip sim card
- Agree with Google Terms (disable services you do not want)
and VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT give a name for the phone, just keep clicking !!
and then just continue ...... two or three clicks later it's done!
