[In Progress] After last update Bluetooth uses alot of battery power

Wed May 02, 2018 6:23 am

BV9000Pro-F
Android 7.1.1
Build: Blackview-BV9000Pro-FHD-VO.6-20180104

Since the last update I got the issue, that activated Bluetooth takes nearly 30% of the battery power. When deactivated the issue is gone...
Any ideas?

I will inform our tech team. Please tell me your full firmware Version.
You find it in "Settings > about phone > Wireless Update> current".

You can also try if a reset will solve this.
wipe data/factory reset in recovery (this will delete your data/settings):
- Power off and then press Power and Volume-up together for around 10 Seconds
- be sure that the little arrow point on recovery (select with volume up, enter with volume down)
- Then the open android with red triangle+"no command" is shown - press Power and Volume up together again
- Select Wipe data/factory reset with volume keys, confirm with power
- After factory reset select reboot system now

In search of a solution to the same problem with the BV9000, I ended up here.

The device has a shorter battery life than that
A7 of my son, because alone Bluetooth uses more than 30% of
Batteries, although sometimes it turns off easily. I loaded the device 16 hours ago and went to sleep. This morning Bluetooth was off, but had already consumed more than 10% battery. Currently Bluetooth has already consumed 23% (calculated 943 mAh) and the day is not over, it's just midday.

After I got that on Amazon, I set up the device as "new", so no backup recorded, did the OTA updates and then
made a factory reset. When I noticed the problem, I have made a factory reset again. Unfortunately, no improvement.

Turning off Bluetooth is unfortunately not an option, because I use it in the car and a smartwatch that would otherwise be deprived of its functions.
