[Answered] Simultaneously charging & headphone audio output

Mon Apr 23, 2018 12:01 am

Hello there to all

I have a blackview bv9000pro 7.1.1 with bulid VO.6_20180104

First of all can you charge the phone and listen to audio via physically wired headphones at the same time by using a c-usb split cable?
I use a c-usb cable male to c-usb female and 3.5mm jack for headphones. When I connect the headphones I listen to audio fine but when
I connect also the charger to the female c-usb the audio output stops. When I disconnect the charger then the audio can be heard again.
Is this normal, don't think so. Please check the attached picture to check the cable type I use.

Also I have tested couple of head phone sets with this phone and the volume of the audio is low. None of the audio volume boost sw from play store really works to fix this.
Is there a way to increase the volume of the headphone output like it's been done for the mic sensitivity? Link: viewtopic.php?f=212&t=348808

Thank you

Cheers
John

Sorry, there is currently no official cable from Blackview like the one you want. But there are some in shops like aliexpress that maybe work. If their USB-C port is not long enough you can try to buy one for Micro-USB and use the micro-usb-to-usb-c-adapter.

To change the headphone loudness just select audio playback instead of voice setting in the engineer mode and change Headset+speaker values.
