Nothing official at the moment. An update may come in the future.

Nothing more from this manufacturer ever. Leaves the older (1 year) device and the user. no update for more than a year.

Hi there, I'm sorry but higher priority has been given to bug fixing, expecially for new phones.

To be honest its just wrong. At least they could provide us a way to develop our own. I could port a custom recovery and a couple of roms. But since there's no way to flash anything but stock to the device they left us entirely in the cold. Theres nothing else really we can do unless we can manage to get the keys, Authentication Certificate file for flashing non signed img with sp flashtool or tool the OEM used to sign the factory images (most unlikely).

The phone has all these security features put in place to stop the users from tinkering with the OS
no fastboot mode
has secure boot - solved with the secure da
has DM_verity -- requires patching boot (BUT)
-verified boot enabled -- can't flash non-verified images. (so we can't flash the patched boot img)
and lastly doesnt allow writing to memory either.

This is a dead sentence for a still very good mid range device. The hardware is still going strong.
Admin please adress this to the company.

they don't want to help us. of course, buy a new device for them better.
they are not in the interests of help, this is a bad business policy

That's a big pile of bull. You could edit the fstab file. Just open it with gedit and delete verify from the lines. (At least the boot). Since you already ditched the device from support let us develop further i don't see any problem with that. Android is open source to start with anyway.

It's indeed a bad business policy, if you wanna go for the long run in this sector. Mouth to mouth and internet in general does alot in time.
