I have problem with the proximity sensor while I'm phoning. I need to calibrate it. What is the number to dial for entering in engineering mode where I can operate?
Thanks in advance

Urgently need to know how to enable Safe Mode on the 9500. The usual power off or restart option has been customised by BV and holding finger on power off does not bring up choice of Safe Mode.

Hi,
is it possible to disable the auto-launch (somehow / sometime) of the intercom app when pressing the PTT button (by accident)?

Also: What type of charger do I need to buy (as a backup) to get the max. charge rate for the device (9500 Pro)?
The QC3.0 chargers that I own are at least 3 times slower than the included one.

Hello. Yesterday I just received my bv9500 pro.
All its working amazing.
Just PPT button is annoying very often. Is there any trick or tip to disable that button? Or maybe an app who will block for a while walkie talkie? (I tried several apps, but didn't find yet a good one)

I have a problem with my BV9500 Pro which I purchased directly from Blackview via their campaign on Indiegogo and got delivered to me on the 23rd of October.
After it froze while watching youtube I pressed the power button once and the screen went black and after that I can't do anything.
No matter how long I press and hold the power button, nothing happens and the screen is still black. I have no way of knowing if the phone is on or off as it is now.
If I connect the power cable the red charging light comes on and if I press and hold the power button the light will flash once after a few seconds but after that nothing.

My guess is that the phone is bricked somehow and there is nothing for me to do since I can't remove the battery without voiding the warranty.
Who do I contact about returning the phone for repairs? It was purchased directly from Blackview.hk so there is no middle hand to send it to and so far they haven't returned my emails.

The only once that answered me was Blackview.co.za but since they only do support in South Africa, I'm back at square one.

Where do I as a person living in Sweden turn to get it repaired?

Here you go!  Power off the phone, then turn on (power button) and press both volume buttons (up and down) while the phone is initiating (there is a first blackview screen, no need to press in that one but in the second one - dynamic blackview logo). Hold the buttons until the phone starts. Safe mode will appear at the bottom left

Hi there, unfortunately the PTT button can't be disabled at the moment. A software update about that may come in future.
Just buy a charger wich supports the Mediatek Pump Express feature :) Qualcomm chargers aren't compatible with Blackview (Mediatek) phones' fast charge protocol.

First, try to perform a factory reset from recovery mode:
viewtopic.php?f=192&t=334922&p=598885#p598885

If this doesn't solve your issue, please contact the Blackview indiegogo page to get all the infos about how to get your phone replaced/repaired under warranty.

As I wrote, it doesn't matter what I do or how long I press and hold the power button, nothing happens. The phone doesn't restart, shut down or anything, the screen is black. So no chance of performing a factory reset.
I have tried contacting Blackview through Indiegogo, no answer. From what I have read, people have a hard time getting any kind of answer from Blackview hence why I came here, to try and get an answer on one of their platforms.
There is no information in their backing site on Indiegogo about returning the phone for repairs or anything. Isn't the Indiegogo campaign done by Blackview.hk anyway? That's where the emails are sent anyway, so I should just have to contact Blackview.hk directly and get help I presume?
How come Blackview.hk doesn't have a ticket system like they have on the Blackview site for South Africa? Aren't they the same company except for just different areas?
I just want to be able to send my phone in and get it repaired or replaced, but from the looks of it, it will be far into the future before I will be able to send it.
