[SOLVED] questions about updating

I just got this phone and it is full of errors and isn't charging properly and turning itself on when it has no battery. I guess I need to update it but I can't download from the mega.nz site. It says I reached my daily limit and I haven't downloaded anything. Is there another place I can download the files I need without giving my credit card info?

Also, why can't I just put the update on the sd drive and update that way? This flashing business seems complicated and I feel like I could easily mess it up.

Clear your browser cache, cookies and history.
Get a new ip by switching your router/modem off for few minutes, then switch it on again ;)
Now Mega will work ;)

Unfortunately local update by microsd card isn't working properly.

I went and got a new charger and it seems to be charging properly. Is there any way to update without flashing? My computer doesn't recognize the phone and I just don't think I have the tech skills to do it without someone holding my hand.

Also, why don't you have the files in dropbox or something? There has to be a better site to upload to. I have two internet connections in the house and I was unable to get a full download with either one of them.

A the moment, the only alternative to Flashing is OTA updating, wich comes with its limits..
Mega is working flawlessly for almost all the user base.. :ugeek:
