I had a problem with my bv8000pro for the past 5months or so where updates would download but when the phone rebooted to install them I was met with an error with an android lying down and his chest open picture.
I just reformatted my sd card to be portable storage (not internal storage) and this has fixed it. Wanted to capture it here as I searched and searched for a fix but couldn't find one.

Just managed the 22nd of may update by doing this. Using the SD card as internal storage on this device creates multiple problems and should be avoided.

In general, using an SD Card as internal storage creates lots of problems on several phones. It's happened on a lot of brands and models and is not recommended at all. Some manufacturers have even removed that feature from their phones to avoid problems and loss of data.
