Can you do this update via local update or only by flashing it?

For me it was an OTA update.

I tried doing it via local update as I don't feel comfortable doing a flash but it didn't update my firmware and it isn't available on OTA for me yet. Am I perhaps doing something wrong?

A lot of us didn't get it via OTA. That's why I finally decided to flash it via SP Flash Tool

Admin will we still receive the OTA update or do you have any suggestion regarding the local update apart from doing a flash of the rom?

OTA update should come, but if you don`t want to wait, go to the flashing route!

Thank you I will patiently wait for the OTA update.

I went to update local update to newest version posted about bv8000 pro that post the warning about the flashing saying u can't go back after flashing and says installing but when it reboots it does not show as the current version that I downloaded. I even factory reset and tried. Still no luck why is this happening

Can you post a screenshot of the version after the update?
