Hello guys,

So i have a bv8000pro, build number: BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803 with firmware version: V0.1_20170803_20170906-1035.
My problem is that when i check for updates via wireless it says that my "device's software is currently up to date" which is wrong as there is a "BV8000Pro_blackview_20171011" update I found in one of your posts.
First I downloaded "_20170822" and tried local update but after the instalment I checked to see the firmware version and it was still 20170803_20170906-1035.
Then, I downloaded "_20170829" and ran local update again but failed, version still unchanged. Also I tried resseting to factory setings, then update local and still nothing.
PS. The zip file was there, it recognized it named "20170822_s21v57c2k_jk_fsm.zip"
Can someone give me an advice on what to do because I have all the bugs (including camera's red/pink color) and no solutions at this moment.

pink camera issue can be "workarounded" by using the app open camera.

You can flash the latest awailable update file and try OTA again then.

You will have to flash the 20170829 ROM. Once flashed, you will get the 20171011 update via OTA.
This bug happened to all smartphones shipped with the 20170906 ROM.
