I finally succedded reflashing the 2 IMEI codes with this tool :

http://snwritetool.com/download/sn-write-tool-v1-1728

and the usual VCOM USB drivers used for flashing ROMs

You also need the official rom to select the databases (MDDB_InfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6757P_S00_MOLY_LR11_W1630_MD_MP_V14_P14.EDB and APDB_MT6757_S01_alps-mp-n0.mp5_W17.32 files)

Of course also need the IMEI codes from the box...

I noticed a mismatch between the output of uname -a command :

Linux localhost 4.4.15 #21 SMP PREEMPT Tue Dec 19 18:11:39 CST 2017 aarch64

and what is displayed in the "Device Status" page where the kernel info shows :

4.4.15 root@android #14 Thu Aug 3 15:09:39 CST 2017

is this only on my device ? what does yours shows ?

I also have this problem and the flashing didnt work out for me. The generator mentioned in the "how to flash" PDF was missing and the one i downloaded from an other source just said "error".
Could someone maybe make an really easy(<--Important part) tutorialvideo on how to flash this phone with all links for the downloads?

Or is it possible to get this update as an OTA before the end of the year? That way I could say the updates made my phone useable for vacation in 2017. Right now my batterylife is about 1-2 days. And the way it's now, I cant take my phone anywhere where I dont have electricity nearly all the time...

Follow the tutorial, it will be easy also without a video :) . The checksum generator link has been put into the first post.

As stated previously, OTA delivery time can't be predicted.
