Hi guys, I`m trying to update with android 8.0 ota update file, normally this update is for local update, but after updating, i still see in the settings about device Android 7.0 and in the update window i still see BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803_20180307-1950. So i Guess it did not really update, all thaw the vision was like it did, with turning off and so on.
So i tried downloading SPMD, unzipping the firmware file and when choosing Scatter file it tells me that the scatter file is wrong format, but it is not it` txt, can someone help me with my issue please? 

Ok, so i downloaded SP flash software, and when i try to choose scatter file, the SP Flash gives me an error:

ERORR: STATUS_SCATTER_FILE_INVALID (0xC0030001)

It doesn't work for me. As told on other topic, I downloaded 2 times the zip. Put them on différents folders. Used the 2 methods. But nothing

Try to put the .zip file on your phone without sdcard.

I downloaded android 8 zip in to my PC , after moved in to my phone download folder, apply local update , navigate to download folder and selected zip file after 15min all done, I research some user have a problems to install because some Bv 8000 pro is with proccesor helio p20 my one is with proccesor helio p25 .
New android 8 version working fine, no lights on bottom line home / menu buttons, led indicator looks like working , camera OK, finger print OK, everything seems OK, few new feature like WiFi call, apart battery, battery going quick down 30 min of use 15% down. 1 h 35% this with battery saver option on. This only browsing no films no streaming,

Hello, i have tried to perform the update with the second method as you have recommended, i copied the firmware zip file to the main directory, removed the external sd flash card, rebooted in recovery, selected "apply update from sdcard", and it gave me  a message in the middle of the black screen "Supported API: 3", than a few seconds later, it brought a message on the top of the screen in red:
 Choose a package to install:/sdcard 
.../
And that`s all, no choose of the package, nothing, empty. All thaw i know that i have copied the firmware to the main directory, where all files are android, data, download, the main, main directory.. ((

As well, after yesterdays manipulations, it seems that i have lost my NV data, and have no backup(, no my IMEI of sim 1: 111111111111111, and sim 2: 222222222222222 and the IMEI SV is 78 for both sim cards.(( Al thaw i don`t really care about, the bandwidth works, the rest i don`t care..
