Had the same problem with 20170829 update,
So I downgraded to 20170822 and no more stuttering durring calls, only small rare Bluetooth interruptions, but now I can have a decent phone call at least.

I recommend 20170822

If you get error before trying to flash I used a checksum.ini generator and placed it in rom folder and then it worked:

Thanks for your nice help. I reported the bug. But please try to post not offtopic, this thread is about Android 8

There are many posts in other communities about lineage for our dreamdevice. Has anyone tried this?

lineage os actually come from nougat 7.1.2, it is in a debugging phase to make it rock solid, so i don't think they will upgrade it to android 8 soon

Lineageos 14 is on Android 7 base
And lineageos 15 is on Android 8 base.

Is your issues solved in 20171011?

Yes. Thank you so much. The 4G internet and the phone calls are very better.

But with this firmware I use a lot more battery. On the firmware before I had to charge on every second day. Now I have to charge daily.
