hi everybody, I have a BV8000pro since 1 year and last month the camera for selfie don't appear when i want to use it with open camera  !
I open the phone to verify the connection with the camera but nothing is wong .
What can I do ?

Firstly, please perform a factory reset and report back.

thank you but i don't want to do a factory reset because I have many application installed and it tooks a lot of time to reinstall.
Is there another solution to test it? have you ever ear about this problem?

Performing a factory reset is a mandatory step to rule out if such issue is software or hardware related.

Hi, this is a know issue. As said perform a factory reset. But some times this is not enough, you have to reinstall the rom. I had this problem with Android 7 and 8.
An other solution (worked for me) is to install "Camera_media.hd.photo.selfie.camera.apk". I don't know why but with this apk (Only this one, i have try about 20 apks) both mode are working... By my side the original camera apk has disappeared. This is a temporary solution. If you want to backup all your apps, Titanium will do a nice job you can do a update.zip and you can flash it after factory reset or rom flash. I hop it will help you.

thank you very much for the link, I downloaded the apk and installed it, but it's the same , impossible to shoot photo with the front camera ! I 'll try the factory reset.

I need my selfie camera , so because i can't get it back by the means mentionned above, I'll test the factory reset but before i must use titanium backup, but my phone must be root,  how to do it? have you a simple method?
