Is it dead? (Powering issue)

Mon Mar 11, 2019 3:41 pm

Hi Blackview community,

I'm not sure my BV8000 pro have survived after living a carnival...

The charging port have suffering water, sand and flour (among others stuffs) exposure.

Since then, It's impossible to charge it. Sometimes the red light appears, but it doesn't turn on any more...

what may be the dysfunction? Which component?

I'll try to fix it here, but I am dubitative that the guys could do it with this specific port...

Should I buy this ? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-bla ... 04291.html

Thanks

Hi there!
From what i can read, it seems that the usb charging port may be dirty. I suggest you to carefully clean it with a needle and isopropilic alchol.
If accurately cleaning it can't solve the issue, you can replace the charging board with the one you linked ;)

Nope, unfortunately. But you can chose a faster shipping way on AliExpress paying more.
