BV8000 Pro issues with network, battery, charging, performance and more

Hi!


I own a Blackview BV8000 Pro since 30th of March, 2018

it has big problems with network connectivity since the begining
in most places, despite of full signal 4G symbol, when I answer or make a call the icon changesto zerosignal 3G or sometimes zero signal E and talking is impossible
internet is also slowed down or disabled then
so I basically can't call indoors or even sometimes outside...

later on USB-C plugged to the phone wasn't charging
I had to turn the device completely off to plug the charger and then turn on the phone with charging somehow enabled
for some reason the charging works usually now, but not always

I sent the phone to my lazy seller and he said the phone has got moisture indicator inside changed
so he sent the phone back to me without repair or anything because, as he said, 'I wet the phone so it's my fault - even Apple of Samsung don't repair leaked waterproof phones'
that was unsatisfying answer to my rugged phone
I asked someone by the Blackview fanpage about it and he said that it's the fault of the phone obviously, because it's sold as waterproof IP68
I told him about it and he 'did his research'
three weeks later he sent me a link an e-mail with a link to http://blackview.hk/contact-us/ and said that the phone was bought with an invoice on the business I work in so because the phone was bought for a company I have to contact the producer directly to get the warranty repair

whole process with my lazy seller took about three months, because he is not able to answer my calls for a few weeks, he's not responding to e-mails and messages
to get any information I had to call him from other phones

now the phone (apart from issues above) gets really hot in my pocket, freezes and restarts itself a few times a day, fingerprint scanner doesn't work until I restart the phone, touch keyes aren't working sometimes, phone got laggy in general

the battery keeps the phone alive for about 12-13 hours and also has some 'unconcious breaks' as shown on the screenshot:

I AM JUST TIRED, I've got no real answer since a few months
my lazy seller is not helpful, someone from Your BV fanpage sent me a link to the forum and there is not support for Blackview in Poland as far as I know

I loved the phone and want to still coegzist with it
I don’t see any other phone manufacturer meeting my needs as Blackview does

tell me how can I send the phone to You

Hi Jakub, unfortunately you got a faulty device. It may happen.
The really bad thing is that your seller is a very bad seller. Seller is the one who manages warranty terms (or have to) and repair/replacements under warranty, we can't do anything about that.

The last thing you can try to do is to replace the charging board, perform a factory reset and update your phone to the December 2017 firmwares and then perform another factory reset. This may solve part (or all) the issues.

excuse me
I am a blackview BV8000 user, and I have a problem with my cellphone battery
when the charger is turned on, my cellphone is not charged, and when it turns off it can be charged and it is also very long (1% / 4 hours)
but my cellphone is now totally dead and can't be charged, I have replaced the USB Dock Port Charger, but there is no effect and still totally dead
please help me to solve this problem, thank you

You may try to replace the battery.

I have changed the battery, but there is no influence
in the charger in the off and on condition it continues to decline

you'll have to contact your seller to have your phone replaced under warranty, then.

hi!

I'm here to say my issue is SOLVED
purchased the charging board from aliexpress for 9 usd with free shipping, replaced it and the phone is connected to network as normal phone everywhere :D
replacing the charging board also sorted out USB-C problems:
  • one sided charginng - now works in both ways, as it should
  • USB connection - now OTG stuff works just fine, adapter, pendrive, mouse
I also upgradeded the phone 'the local way' today to 8.0 (had to factory reset it afterwards, because it wasn't able to take off without it)
so for now the phone is working sharp and clear, my stuff is syncing now
in a few days will see how it performs

had to install the Hide "running in the background" Notification app to hide annoying thing
now without it - works just fine

just a little update:
I said the phone mostly works fine but just after a few days I know that's not the truth

Android 8.0 for BV8000 sucks, as You all know
  • charging the phone takes most of the night and the phone is not able to last until the next night... (4180mAh wtf)
  • fast charging doesn't exist
  • after getting out of my home (or any WiFi connection point) I usually have to restart antennas by switching airplane mode for a moment to recover mobile data transmission

I DO NOT RECOMMEND INSTALLING IT
