Poor battery: a success story

I've been very happy with this phone since I got it 6 months ago. I would come home after 16 hours of nearly constant Bluetooth use with 40% left. I upgraded to the latest ota update, and still had good luck. The six hours into one day of virtually no use , I was at 50%. I did a factory reset, no improvement. a 12 your day of very minimal use had me at 20%. I checked cpu spy and seen the 1690 band in almost constant use. Check attached screenshot. I decided to downgrade firmware, but had difficulty. I settled for wiping user data and cache with the recovery menu. Reboot the phone and logged back into Google to allow my apps to return. 6 hours later the phone is at 96% with an estimated 5 days remaining.B-). Screen shot attached.

I don't know if it was just the second reset, or resets should be done with the recovery menu, but it worked.

That's why a factory reset after each update is highly recommended. ;)

Yes, but which method? Through the device is was unsuccessful. Through the recovery menu worked much better.

Both methods should work in the same way, as far as I know
