I need to use wired headphones, currently we no real solution to the problem - however I just watched a video on the BV9000 and it looks to come with a long usb C to 3.5mm adapter which should work great with the BV8000?

Such adapter can't be bought as a spare part, unfortunately.

I don't think such an adapter will work on BV8000, since the USB-C port must be capable of transmitting sound, and I'm not sure the one on BV8000 does that. In fact, I have one around from another phone that lacked 3,5mm jack and it didn't work.

If you need to use wired headphones and can't use the 3,5mm jack on your BV8000, you can try this, which I tested and works:

1) You need to get a USB sound adapter (as cheap as $1 on Aliexpress). Something like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Hot-sale-Audio-Adapter-3D-Sound-card-5-1-USB-To-3-5mm-mic-headphone-Jack/2711003_32886524426.html

2) Connect the sound adapter to the phone, using the usb host cable.
