Hello, we have a customer who bought 200 BV8000 Pro devices.
Our application need that all the devices on the same shop have the correct date and time to be able to work properly.
For security reason our customer doesn't allow access to internet to his devices.
So the time cannot be taken from internet.
On some devices from other brands that we are currently using there is the possibility to specify manually the NTP server where to get the time from .

Does the BV8000 Pro has this feature?
If yes, could you please give me some instructions to do that?
At the moment I don't have in my hand a BV8000 Pro, becasue the project is managed by our colleagues in another branch of our company which is abroad.
Our colleagues asked help on this subject.

If the BV8000 Pro doesn't have this feature would be possible to implement it on your side or find a way to do that?
Since we don't want to root the device and our application cannot set the time of the device due to the Android permissions, we have no chance to achieve this result, otherwise.

What about getting the time from the GPS network? This one is supported.

We will try this, but we are worried about two things.
1. The battery consumption with the gps active (maybe it is not so big).
2. The coverage of the GPS when the device is inside a building, becasue we use them inside restaurants.

2. GPS accuracy inside buildings may be low, but enough to get correct time
