What's your current firmware version?

I suggest to perform a factory reset and try again, there should be some other app running in the background.

yeah. Backup all your data, perform a factory reset and remember to install only the PUBG game, not other apps. Then test it and report back. ;)

Just installed PUBG mobile on my bv8000pro, set graphics on smooth and framerate on low.
It looks like it is very poor optimized, expecially (but not only, as google says..) for mediatek processors. Performance is not consistent.

This guide can help you a bit, but there's nothing more we can do to help you with such issue. PUBG developers should be blamed about that.

Try to download GFX Tool from the play store and adjust the graphic of the game.

The lag of this phone is because of its trash hardware. The Mediatek CPU when in sleep hold around 30 degree Celsius. The moment you turn this device on, the processor start heating up and when it reaches 45 degrees (which is around 2-3 minutes after waking up) it starts throttling because it is overheating. Throttling means the CPU changes its frequency from 200MHz to max. MHz every 1-2 seconds. This result in inconsistent performance, great lag and at the end completely unusable for gaming. This device can only be used for phone calls and a calculator. Nothing more, no serious gaming. In fact I am currently using my old phone which is using Mediatek MT6735 (4 cores at 1.25GHz, and only 2GB ram) and it has better performance comparing to BV8000pro on most games (for example Last Day on Earth or Clash Royale). So again - don't waste your time - you cannot fix it. Just don't buy Mediatek phones if you need something more than a phone with calculator and flashlight.

YouTube is full of gamers which are playing while recording using their phones. Also these guys are playing much more heavy games than the one I mentioned. Yet this joke (bv8000pro) cannot handle simple games and is completely useless. Like I said this thing can be used for phone calls and calculator only. Nothing more. Forget about fixing the lag.
