I installed google pay and it does not work.  I did not receive 20170822, that was fix.
How can I get 20170822 fix (for google pay) without having to install firmware.
Don't want to lose apps.
thanks

Dear Admin:

Thanks for reply.  Attached screenshot of update screen in settings.

I recently browsed to >  "check for updates" and downloaded: >(20180307-1950,
and this update appeared to be "reboot issue and translations").
I had tried (google pay) before the -1950 update, and then I tried google pay again,
after installing the above.
(Google pay still does not work: I tried it at local department store,
and local dollar store and then Mcdonalds fast food).  No luck on Google Pay.  I moved phone
all around on terminal with (google pay) app open.  No response.
For some reason the phone did not alerted in notification on update, so
this may be why I did not receive any notifications during last part of 2017,
when the (google pay) fix was available.   So it appears that my phone does not
have (google pay fix).

Thanks for your time.

Updates are incremental: the latest one carries all the previous fixes, the google pay one included.
Can you please perform a factory reset and try again?

Dear Admin:
Thanks much for reply.  That's good news on updates being incremental.
Will do factory reset and try again.
