Hi Support,

There is a lot of people who don't want to have the startup sound as there are occasion where it can embarrass the user if it reboots unintentionally:

• At Work
• At a Conference
• At the Cinema
• Waking everyone if reboots in the middle of the night?
• various other occasions....?

So, please can you tell  us, how to modify the startup sound to be "NULL" and quiet, please?

Unfortunately you can't do it without rooting, and rooting can't be officially supported for obivous reasons.
An alternative would be setting your phone in silenced/vibration mode: until in such mode, the boot jingle will be silenced aswell.
