hardware fault?

Sun Apr 29, 2018 10:48 am

i have awoke today after an ordinary night routine of charging phone before bed
now i wake and like many others am suffering from a totally useless phone which only flashes a red proxim sensor LED if power button is held for 15 seconds...

many pages i have read on here and the term "hardware issue" is used alot to describe an inexplicable fault, completely no responsibility from the user...

you say the phone has suffered a hardware fault and this is a blame free situation where only option is to lose all data and never use the phone again, hope that a warranty is possible even though there is no official sellers only sketchy internet dealers who unsurprisingly wont replace the phone

I AM SAD AS I HAVE BOUGHT MANY BLACKVIEW PHONES AS THEY ARE BRILLIANT PHONES IN THEORY
I HAVE TOLD MANY PEOPLE ABOUT THE PRAISES OF BLACKVIEW
I HAVE BOUGHT 6 BV PHONES MYSELF AND MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVE ALSO BOUGHT BECAUSE OF MY RECOMENDATION
I HAVE LOST ALL MY DATA TWICE BEFORE DUE TO UNFORESEEABLE, INEXPLICABLE, UNAVOIDABLE ISSUES WITH BLACKVIEW PHONES :--(

this issue is terrible as you appear to
  •  release phones that dont get QC in any real way (the issues facing BV phones are not freak accidents that any brand can suffer, they are the product of poor/nonexistant quality control and ZERO useful support from anywhere)
  • show total disregard for any responsibility of the issues which are OBVIOUSLY major issues with the phone themselves
  • offer no explanation/solution/sympathy/support

if this message ever makes it to the light of day on the official blackview website i hope and pray i havent lost all my dataif not (admins dont accept because im clearly another victim of BV's terrible customer service) then you are reading this on the many other forum websites i will post to if BV choose to avoid my issue AGAIN....PLEASE HELP ME BV DONT LEAVE ME BROKEN AGAIN

Let's start.

First: you don't have to open different topics to talk about the same problem. I merged them together, to avoid fragmentation.
If you had read forum rules, you would have understood that. Next time, read more and post less and learn how to interact with forums.

Second: your issue definitely looks like an hardware fault. It's annoying, and i'm sorry for that, but may happen to anything you buy... that's why warranties exist.
You'll have to contact your seller to have your device replaced under warranty.
I ignore where you bought your phone, but i want to remember you that we have official online stores and official resellers, Amazon included.
If you bought your device from a non specified "sketchy internet dealer" don't complain if he doesn't honor warranty terms. There's nothing we can do about that!

Third: about data loss, anybody knows that storage devices (and phones are!) may get damaged and lose data, that's why backups exist.
Next time, be more careful about your data and perform both backups of your files (transfer photos on PC, for example) and your phone (Google already does that for you!).
