[SOLVED] Shaking screen / Rear Camera deactivated

Wed Apr 25, 2018 8:39 am

Hello,

I had performed an OTA update of my blackview BV8000 in November. This update, created a couple of problems :

- The screen started shaking, the size of the image bearing reduced. The more ressources the apps are using, it looks like it gets more intense.
- My rear camera stopped working. When opening the camera app, I just have the front one, and the button to switch to the rear camera is just "grey"

I've read about these issues in the forum, so I installed the last available update. This time, by flashing it. After the flashing I had a factory reset, everything went fine, apps started to install again.

But it didn't fix the issues. The rear camera won't work, and the screen shaking has improved. Now the screen won't shake in a regular use, only with heavy games or the camera app. So better, but still not fixed.

Any idea of what might be wrong with these 2 issues or is there a fix on its way that I should just wait for ?

Also I have a third issue since I have the phone, but this one I think it's a matter of settings :

- Randomly, the volume of the alarm always set itself to the maximum.level. I have to manually put it down every night, if I don't want to have a hard morning. Sometimes I forget, so I do it immediately in the beginning of the day, but sometimes it gets up again. Randomly. I don't know how to fix this annoying setting.

If anybody has an idea of how to fix these ? :)

Thanks in advance

Hi there!

Screen shake and camera issue definitely look like hardware faults, as they survived to a flashed firmware followed by a factory reset.
The only solution would be contacting your seller to have your device replaced under warranty.

About the alarm volume rising by itself, i never heard about such issue.
If anybody else can confirm such issue, i will forward it to the tech team instantly! ;)
