My original charger never worked, but I have several qualcom chargers, but it still takea the phone 3-4 hours to charge. Other phones will say if they are using fast charge or normal. I have changed cablea also.

If your 3rd party chargers support the mediatek pump express fast charge, you'll find it written in the lock screen while charging ("Fast charge" text will appear).

Hi. You may also use an app called Ampere. It will show you how much power that actually goes to the battery. At fast charge it should read up to 2130mA , on the BV 8000 Pro. Hope this helps.

Admin, can you please elaborate a little bit more on the fast charging. What are the conditions at which it is enabled ?
I am currently using the charger and USB cable that came with the phone, the battery is at 38% and when connected to the charger and on the lock screen the phone displays only "charging". Is there any option somewhere I should enable for "fast charging" ?

I can't find a mediatek pump express charger. All the chargers I have are Qualcom quick chargers.

Yeah, but stock android already shows if your device is fast charging or not Ampere app is not mandatory.

Fast charging is enabled by default, if the usb charger (together with a good usb cable) supports that.
Your device will start fast charging from a battery charge of 20-25% to 95%.
Just plug your device in, lock it, wait few seconds, open the lock screen by pressing any button once (but don't unlock your phone!) and a text showing "Fast charge" or something similar will appear if your battery is in the range between 25% and 95%.

You can buy another Blackview original charger, or chargers wich support the Mediatek Pump express feature like these:

Or you can buy another charger like the Sony Quick Charger UCH12, wich also supports the Mediatek Pump express feature.

Here is a screenshot from my BV8000 Pro under charging.
"Ricarica veloce" = Fast charge in Italian language.

I have seen only "charging" on mine using the cable and the charger that came with the phone.
