[TRACKED, WORKAROUND FOUND] Pin Code Changed By Itself

Hi. Second time Pin code changed by itself and I cant enter phone. And Clock show current time with big delay.

Please update your device to the latest firmware (20180124), perform a factory reset and report back

This also seems to have happened to my phone today. Have used it several months, then suddenly does not accept PIN.
Have data on it that I do not want to wipe.
Please advise...

Can you unlock it with fingerprint?

Cannot unlock with fingerprint. That stopped working too. No response when I try.

I can't see any other solution except a factory reset, unfortunately.

I did some searching around and I found something that's meant to use Google's "Find my Device".
In order to do it, you'll need to go to
https://www.google.com/android/find and log in to your connected google account. When it finds your phone, choose the lock option and it should prompt you to put in a new password.
This is meant to override the current password when set (after some delay ~5mins)

My phone has also just changed it's PIN and I can no longer access the phone.
I normally use finger print access and every once in awhile it will also prompt me for the PIN.
This had been working for many months prior to lunchtime today.

Just read the posts above
