I just bought a new BV800pro, first upgrade resolved the insensitive back button and overheating. But subsequent OTA updates to 2017127 completely rendered the camera useless. Camera is more like a VGA camera even on 21MP. Battery still drains a little but can leave it that.
Poor camera of this nature is unacceptable.
Please what can I do to get it back clear and sharp.

1) Did you try the camera (taking good photos) before updating your phone?

2) Did you pefform a factory reset after the 20171227 update?

3) Can you try to FLASH your device to the 20171227 update?
Flashing will also solve the little drain issue.

in my case, the camera poor quality became with the flashing to 20171227. so i did the downgrade to the 20171219 and quality improved.

Did anybody else notice this issue?

To be honnest I have never been able to take a good picture. Camera is very noisy.
Quality is not much better than my current Galaxy S2 (yup, 7 years old phone)
But I though it was just a bad quality camera and did not think it was software related.

Thanks Admin for your swift response, I did the factory reset and the battery drain stopped. However I must say that the camera I still very grainy or noisy. The picture quality will indicate it's a high resolution image but with lists of white dust like substances over. Please admin help communicate same to your tech team.

Now I know not to apply any update if nothing is wrong with your BV8000 pro.

I've had a decent working camera until a week ago. It suddenly became blurred and unable to focus at all. I can't tell which ROM I was on.
I tried to flash to 20170814, it didn't help. Now I'm on V0.1_20170803_20171227-1550, the latest, as I can see (factory reseted after flashing). I noticed I can focus on my fingers placed close to the camera, but nothing more distant. And it got worse - now I have the rebooting_in_the_night problem with no loud melody and no alarm clock in the morning because of pin request (phone goes to silent mode after 10pm, no help).

So, what can I do now to get rid of bugs?

p.s. tried to attach a photo, but get http error.

1) For the camera problem, if you can't fix it by using the Opencamera App instead of the stock app, i reccomend to reflash your device to the 20171114 or 20171219 version, as the 20171227 carried some camera problems.

2) For the reboot issue, refer to this thread:

Thanks for your response.

1) Opencamera doesn't help. Ok, I've tried both 1114 and 1219 with no effect. Even made factory reset through the factory mode.
So, now I don't have working camera, even can't read QR code.
F - frustration.

Any ideas?

2) For the reboot issue I didn't find any solution in the mentioned thread. Hope after reflashing this problem will be gone.
