Hi,
Has anyone tried using USB-C headphones OR adapters w/headphones through the USB port, and do they work on BV8000?
I am aware that a big part of the phone market is pushing to scrap the 3.5mm. There are already some models of headphones with USB-C jacks (still very expensive/questionable audio quality). There's also a more viable alternative in USB-C to 3.5mm adapters. Some of those adapters do not pack a DAC, but it shouldn't be a problem with BV8000, since it has a 3.5mm jack, therefore it already has a DAC chip, right?
Thanx in advance!
Tito

Remember that the USB-C port of your phone is deeper than a standard USB-C port, so you'll need to use the provided OTG cable adapter.
This means that you'll have to buy a Standard USB-3.5mm adapter to use your heaphones, or normal usb headphones!

I've used a USB sound card bought from Aliexpress for around $1 and was able to plug and use the 3.5mm headphones I use on my pc, with the help of the provided USB host adapter. I don't know if a pure USB-C headphone would work.

You can't use a pure USB-C headphone, unless it's equipped with a longer USB-C connector head.

Yes, and if such headphone existed, or anyone managed to get/make an adapter, would a pure USB-C headphone work out of the box?
