Dear,

My new BV 8000 Pro has big problem, the battery just keeps at 0 % level even after charging for long time.
Then, after the third repairing shops i went to today, the service shop said that after he has checked the battery and the IC, they are all fine, and he came to the conclusion that the problem is the software or the CPU which they can not read the battery and therefore it keeps 0 % and malfunction although the battery is full.

Could you help me out with this problem ?

Thank you

First update your device to the latest firmware (1219) and perform a factory reset to set out the "software" variables.

If your problem doesn't get solved, it definitely is an hardware problem.
Are you using the original USB-C cable and charger?
Can you try another charger, another cable with the microusb-USBC adapter and a combination of them?

Report back ;)

Hi,

Could you please write down the detail steps of how to update my device to the latest firmware (1219) ?
And how to perform a factory reset to set out the software variables ?

These are very difficult for new users to understand what you mean, because you are familiar with the phone so it is easy for you, but for new users it will only give big headache. :D

How do i know if i am using the original USB-C cable and charger or the fake ones as the fake ones look so similar nowadays.

I wonder whether Blackview has an official store or service centre in Indonesia or not ?
Those online sellers do not want to give their address and do not like to take the responsibility when there is problem occurred.

Thank you

To perform a firmware update:

To reboot in recovery mode to perform a factory reset:

The original cable and charger.... came out of the box! :D

Dear,

i would like to say so much thanks for your help and answer.
but i really got confused after trying the instruction, there are so many steps that confused me
do you have any other solution rather than install this and that which really confused me a lot.
i really wish that your company can make things simple for the average users where they have no expertise with programming and computer things.

could i just plug my cable to your data centre and get fixed ?

thank you

You are welcome!

What about an OTA firmware update? Go to Settings -> Infos -> Firmware update
