Hello Blackview Members,

I just bought the BV8000pro and I have several questions/issues.
The contact form doesn't work for me.

1. How can we remove the SMS to MMS conversion with the native app ?
2. How can we remove the ring when the smartphone is starting on ?
3. How can we remove the vibration when the smartphone is unlock by fingerprint ?
4. How can we remove the fastcharge ?
5. How can we change the function of the left button ? Since the last update, the function of the left button with one finger-tip, changes from "on going app list" to "wallpaper and widgets".

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

1) long press message and select delete
2) you can only set the phone to silent before turn it off
3) not possible
4) use charger that don't support fast charging
5) you can flash the earlier firmware. With current firmware it is not possible.

Hello Blackview Admin,

Thanks for your fast replay.
1) My question was about : How is it possible to remove the conversion SMS to MMS when the text message overcome exceed 150 caracters ?
2) Ok, not the best, but it's a possibily.
3) Not possible, even if we go to the "Root" and remove the "ring" file ?
4) So there is no menu/button inside the phone to remove the fastcharge.
5) Could you remind me how I can flash the earlier firmware ? Please

Thanks in advance.

1) I am not shure if I understand what you want to do. can you post a screenshot or video?
3) Much is possible with root but I am not allowed to support you in this ;)
4) I don't know such a button. Why do you need that? Whats wrong with fast charge?
5) Here is a tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=192&t=319505

1) I'm sorry but I can't take a screenshot. Issue : auto conversion of SMS to MMS. When I write a long SMS/text message (when the number of caracters exceed 150 caracters), my SMS is converted in MMS. I would like a solution like : "Go to Messages of your Android phone. Press Menu button and go to Settings. There will be an option called ‘Input Mode’ or Encoding. If ‘Automatic’ or Unicode s selected, that means that your device is converting SMS to MMS automatically in Android. Change this setting to ‘GSM’ alphabet."
But I don't have this menu on Blackview BV 8000 pro.

2) Closed.
3) I understand. Closed.
4) Fastcharge uses life battery more than normal-charge. But your answer conviced me. Just use not fastcharger. Closed.
5) Ok. I will follow your tutorial. Closed

And it is not worth the risk to do this modification, a lot of work for something not really important.

It is a lot more stressfull for the battery. It is a good thing to have, but when possible, one should use a regular slow charge (I work in a research lab on battery ageing).

I never heard about such a automatic conversion. If your SMS is longer than 160 characters it will be send as two or more connected SMS.
