Hi!
Is there a chance to deactivate the start melody which comes twice while turning on the phone?
It comes even when I put the silent mode on before shutting down.

Thanks for help!

I will report this again to our developers. If you are in a situation where you have to restart your phone in silence plug in your headphones in the meantime.

We can not change it, this can not be controlled by the system.

Admin Can you please send request to developers to remove boot animation sound in the next ROM release? I believe It's not that hard to remove one audio file or replace with zero size file.

Thanks for this. I do know how to root phones (sound already removed). But here are also people who don't want/need to root. This startup sound is absolutely unnecessary. Especially in the outdoor phone for the "real men". They could keep that boot sound in fashion models for teenagers. :)

Completely agree with that.
I don't want to root my phone. Just want to have a silent phone, when beeing in the wild or anywhere else.
It can't be very complicated...Thanks

after rooting the start up sound can be found at

/system/media/

I can't tell you what the file is named because iv allready deleted it (it was obvious)

Its also safe to delete the boot_logo and shutdown_logo found in the same location it gets replaced with the stock android logo

The super su app has an option for full unroot "clean up for perminent unroot" that can be performend after any required modifications
