I will ask but I don't think it's possible to add more bands.

LTE Band 28 a major frequency band in Australia and I think NZ as well.

Then why do you say, on you website, that 700MHz is supported ?

It seems that LTE 700 class 17 is supported (OK for North America, and parts of Latin America)
However LTE 700 band plan for ROW (rest of the world) is different - so band 28 for APT (Asia Pacific), Africa, and Europe not supported.

Given that phone has 700MHz capability, can LTE 28 be added via a firmware update?

Admin...on the BV8000Pro Parameters page it says LTE 700MHz is available: 4G: LTE 700 /800 /850 /1700 /1800 /1900 / 2100 / 2600
TDD 1900 /2300 /2600 /2600

Yet I live in a 700MHz area and it is not working on my phone. Can you please advise which 700MHz band is being referred to above? Or has Blackview forgotten to activate Band 28 reception in the ROM?

Any news on this question ?
It seems to me that you shouldn't advertise for "700MHz" when the reality is that only some 700MHz bands are supported.

B17 is 704 to 716MHz (uplink) and 734 to 746MHz (downlink)
B28 is 703 to 748MHz (uplink) and 758 to 803MHz (downlink)

Given the frequency already supported by the BV800, it seems to me that it is a software problem more than a hardware one.

So please, Blackview, make the B28 supported on the next update ! This is a great phone, make it work according to it's true potential !

I don't know if this helps, but as an NZ user Band 28 support would be greatly appreciated.
I purchased this phone due to the website denoting 700Mhz FDD LTE support and I feel a bit let down that it only covers Band 17.

If this is able to be remedied via an OTA update - then +1 for Band 28 support!
