Feedback, minor issues, missing shortcut

Hello,

my phone arrived last week via Amazon, the delivery from Gearbest still didn't arrive yet.

The version was 20170718 already, so I didn't update, since I didn't run into any of the errors that the august updates are addressing.

I already had it with me on a open air festival last weekend and it got a little wet through rain and sweat, but worked fine. The touchscreen was good enough to clearly recognize fingers while raindrops were on it.

All in all the phone works pretty well, the touch delay is very low, the performance is slightly lower, than my old Sony Z3 Compact, but way higher than my Doogee X5. The camera quality is mediocre at best and bad at low light, but I didn't expect the photos or videos have the same quality as my old Sony made.

Fingerprint sensor is working OK, sometimes you have to retry 2-3 times, but I don't call that an issue. Didn't try using more than one SIM at once. The file system on my SDCard, Sandisk Extreme SDXC 64GB, was declared dead by the BV8000 Pro, though I was able to read it in my old phone and a card reader attached to my PC without any problems, had to reformat it to use it in BV8000 Pro.

OK, now for the issues:
1.) NFC: I can't find a shortcut in the area, where all the other switches for WiFi, Flight Mode, etc. are. (see attached screenshot).

2.) Poor Bluetooth range: There are no problems in connecting to Bluetooth Devices such as JBL Charge 2+, BT Cassette adapter or Renault Factory Radio with Bluetooth, but I have to stay inside a 1.5m radius or even less, else the music starts stuttering and eventually stops playing (Player: PowerAmp). This has nothing to do with Dura Speed or closing apps in background, since these options are turned off.

3.) Videos are stuttering sometimes, also when playing on PC (using VLC Player).

//edit
4.) The adaptive display brightness is rather uncomfortable: When it's getting dark, it starts adjusting the brightness between 0% and 15% or so, there are no nuances, it's either zero or fiveteen. I get that nearly every time I'm in bed, playing a game or watching news and when the picture is very light, my skin reflects the light, the display gets brighter. Is the picture darker again, the display gets darker, too. That's annoying.

I also had a few camera issues, but these were based on a conflict with another app called Rotation Control pro.

after last upgrade I can report the same problems

Bluetooth connect without problems but during audio streaming play, It has a lot of spots and sometimes It disconect at all.

My microsd card is no more visible. I have tested It with other phones and It works fine. How can I format It from bv8000 if the phone doesn't recognize It? The card is completely not visible

No response from the admin after more than 2 weeks :x

Maybe it was too much text, so let me put it simple:

1) Where's the shortcut to enable/disable NFC?
2) Bluetooth stutters, disconnects every now and then, and here's an update: No matter, if phone and BT-Speaker are 20cm or 2m away from each other. Stutters will occure, when display is off. If I activate it stuttering stops and music will play fine.
3) Self recorded videos are stuttering (writing on internal storage) in the first 3-4 seconds, this is also while playback, either on phone or on PC.
4) Lightsensor is too unsensitive in low light conditions: It shows either 132Lux (or more, if it's brighter) or 0Lux, therefore the automatic display lighting is pulsating as well.

@dimarziog
Still having this problem? Maybe the sd-slot is defective. Try format the card inside a cardreader with/in your PC/Notebook or in another smartphone and then put it back into the Blackview. Use FAT32, exFAT might not work, NTFS most probably won't work.

I can fully confirm the described BT issue...
screen on - > stuttering, screen off - > stuttering...
Hope you can track it down and fix it, thanks in advance

Try this for Bluetooth and tell me if it works:

Settings > Battery > Performance > Sports mode

Hello

@oaimng
Thank you for your help, I will try that.

In the meanwhile, I've found another problem: Which one of the in-ears is the left and wich is the right one? There's nothing imprinted. Also, there's a cracking noise, when I apply them into my ears, like if you wrinkle aluminium foil. I could live with the overall bad sound quality, but that's giving me the creeps.

I think, it would've been better, Blackview had an adaptor packed with the phone instead of this garbage.

//edit
It seems, that enabling the high performance mode helps with the problem with bluetooth disconnects, now let's see, how much this will affect battery life...

I tryed that for a long time now, the battery doesn't seem to be affected, but I see the bluetooh still drops sometimes, and I won't hear anything until I turn the bv's Bluetooth off/on ..., Running on 20170829

Thanks for your feedback. We will investigate this.
Are all your reported issues still present after update to Firmware 20170829 and performing a factory reset after that?

Yes! Update + factory reset, all the issues still persist! The bluetooth one is the worse one, it just stutters.
