[SOLVED] Hotspotting Problems

Experienced difficultly connecting my phone Bv8000 internet with other devices.
It works fine with my wife's phone Azus Zenphone 3 running Android 6.0
My tablet PC running Android 5.1.1 doesn't pick up the bv8000pro SSID network signal or my old phone Nexus 4 also running 5.1.1 (I tried changing it beyond the default settings, passwords, AP 2.4/5gb and IPv 4/6..still not even a flicker of a signal. It does work by Bluetooth however, effortlessly, but not hotspot.
My laptop (Dell running Windows 10) doesn't get the Hotspot SSID in the Network signal display from the phone. I did however manage to load universal abd driver and get the USB tethering going (eventually..after many hours fumbling around)
On the plus side...If I were to hotspot all the above devices (Tablet, Nexus 4 & Laptop) my Bv8000Pro picks their SSID 'instantly'.... However, they are not internet connected, only my Bv8000Pro is, as my newly adopted regular phone.
It is a good phone by the way, pretty solid/rugged, but I often need to share my internet connection to other devices (mainly tablet Andr 5 and laptop Wins 10) to maintain my workflow.
I have found a temporary work around (Bluetooth & USB tethering). But nothing really beats Hotspot for people on the move. Is there a hardware/software issue? If so will there be an update to resolve the problem?
Thanks
