[USEFUL] Compatible headphones adapters

Fri Jun 30, 2017 3:00 pm

Hi,

sadly the BV8000 pro uses not a normal headphone jack, but a longer one. All my headphones (for example my noise cancelling headphones) dont work.
Is there an adapter or something planned.. where could i get one?
The Phone is perfect but i would really like to be able to listen to music....
thanks
cheer Thomas

Thomas,

None of the suggestions so far will work. Ignore them.

The adapters shown do not have a long enough jack, or indeed a thin enough one on the body, even that tiny step will not fit through the hole in the phones case.

As a quick fix I opened up the mic area of the standard Blackview headphones, disconnected there and soldered on a female cable mount socket to make an adapter lead.

If you want something nicer and sturdier then order these and make you're own (which is what I have done and can confirm the long plug fits fine):

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

If you don't fancy soldering then I'm sure you can just fit a female - female adapter onto the standard cable.

For extra USB charge cables, order:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301742370056

They need to be modified but with a very sharp knife, just trim 1 - 1.5mm of the rubber to expose more of the USB C type connector.

I hope that helps until official spares or adapters are available.

I confirm again that this adaptator works fine ...

I bought it, i use it on my BV6000 and it's OK. (very thin body = 5 mm)

Edit : and my original cable is always entire ... ;)

As a workaround (stable and good) I'm using the following adapter:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vention ... 0.0.XjaOYX

In the attached picture I have the setup of KZ ATE headset (including mic) connected to the sound card adapter with 90 degrees connector which in turn is connected to the USB-C to USB mini cable.

Works fine.

[update] Sound quality with the Vention sound card is mainly suited for calls. It lacks Bass so it is not really for music lovers.

I can confirm that this cable works with the BV8000 Pro, I'm using it myself.
I searched myself but couldn't find ANY simple "Long Reach-TRRS-to-Normal-TRRS-Jack-Plug-Adapter".
There were 2-3 TRRS-to-TRS-Adapters with longer plugs (they would fit in the socket, but the're just stereo without microphone output!), but I don't know how to get them - in Germany or elsewhere:

(Vitalco JP620)
and

and MAYBE (!):

Hm my main worries has been answered. I wish Blackview would offer a good connector for headphones :/
