Re: [TRACKED AND ALMOST SOLVED] Bluetooth issues

1) firmware xxx V0.1_20170803_20180124-1443

2) No, It disconnects (and reconnects) even without clicking CLEAR ALL button.

3) Bluetooth car tethering is installed, but I haven't paired my TOMTOM GPS yet. So, no trigger can be assigned to this app, which only enables USB tethering to specific paired devices I choose.
Best wifi scans the wifi strenght around the cellphone and if it finds a stronger one that was previously setuped, it changes the wifi I am connected to. For now, I have only 1 wifi at home and 1 at work. I am sure it did not changed any wifi yet. Only monitoring... Same as blue car tethering...

Well, Carnival is next week. I will have a free day to leisure rsrs So, I will try to make a fresh firmware install for the newest version to start over. Can you point the right way? a topic with step by step instructions and a download link to files?

You already have the latest firmware.
Just perform a factory reset and it will be ok!

On the newest firmware, and after factory reset, Bluetooth performance is still spotty. It works fine for most of the time, but it is extremely sensitive to position relative to my body. If I wear the phone in my back pocket music playing over Bluetooth stutters and crackles.

It also still drops out occasionally, even wearing it in a front pocket or during my bicycle commute in a phone mount on my handlebars.

Did you try the bluetooh fix posted in this thread?

I'll sum it up again:

0) Consider updating your device to the latest firmware and performing a factory reset after that

1) Go to "Settings" -> "Background task clear" and whitelist all your 3rd party apps wich need bluetooth to transfer data (i.e. samsung gear app, veryfit app and so on..). By doing that, they will be allowed to run in background even if the smartphone is in deep sleep state.

2) Go to "Settings" -> "Battery" -> "3 dots" in the upper right corner -> "Battery optimization" -> select "All apps" from the dropdown menu and disable battery optimization for every bluetooth service app, as
- Bluetooth MIDI service
- BT Tool
- Bluetooth sharing

and for every app needing to use bluetooth to transmit data, as
- Phone
- Phone services
- Call management
- Phone/Messaging storage
- your 3rd party music player
- other telephone dialer apps
- fitness band apps and so on

3) Only if the previous steps doesn't solve your issue, ALSO:
- Go to "Settings" -> "Battery" and disable "Standby intelligent power saving"
- Go to "Settings" -> "Duraspeed" and and disable it.

4) Only if, again, the previous steps still don't solve your issue, ALSO go to "Settings" -> "Battery" and set your device into "High performance mode"

Please follow these steps carefully and report back if your bluetooth issue gets solved ;)

I have tried everything suggested on this thread for the Bluetooth issues, still have them. I have noticed the following:

1. if the screen is on, the quality is very garbled and static. Very hard to understand.
2. if the screen is off, then the quality is great, but the Bluetooth connection will disconnect anywhere from 4-8 minutes, it will then reconnect after a minute. Then a new cycle starts where it will disconnect in 4-8 minutes again.

Hi there!

Are you sure you strictly followed what stated in my previous post?
What's your firmware version?
What Bluetooth device are you using?

BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_2017083_20180105-1104 is the current firmware I have installed. And I have followed the instructions three separate times with not change in the Bluetooth behavior when connected to my car radio.

1) Can you flash your device to the latest firmware version (20180124), perform a factory reset and try the instructions again?

2) Are you using your car's bluetooth to play music, calling or both?
