Well, I disagree : When one's phone has fingerprint unlocking, backed up with code unlocking, it's silly to use a sim card pin code.
I rooted my phone so I could replace the startup mp3 file with a silent one and don't have a sim card pin code so I don't care about reboots
Fingerprint unlock won't work without a DEVICE pin, unless rooting. I'm not talking about SIM pin, wich i consider almost redundant and not so useful nowdays.
