SUMMING UP FOR ALL USERS:

0) Update you device to the latest firmware and perform a factory reset after that

1) Disable battery optimization for every bluetooth service as
- Bluetooth MIDI service
- BT Tool
- Bluetooth sharing

and for every app that will need to use bluetooth to transmit data as
- Phone
- Phone services
- Call management
- Phone/Messaging storage
- your music player
- other telephone dialer apps and so on.

Thank you Admin. I am on 20171227 and it works for me.
Think about Reset app preferences.
Best regards

Tech team suggests to FLASH the 20171227 firmware (now available for download) and report back if the issue gets mitigated (my fixes should work again).
Please do it ;) the OTA update may have created problems.

We have purchased something in the region of 500 of this phone model. Flashing each phone is not an option, much less one to tell ordinary consumers who could render their phones useless. Please advise when a reliable OTA update to correct all these issues has been developed and beta-tested. Any manufacturer telling the public to flash their phones runs this risk of losing customers rapidly. While we appreciate the need to flash in beta-testing, it must not be the final or even an interim solution.

Hello Blackview Crew,

We are a fulfilment company.
Our company has a couple BV8000 Pro devices in use.
These devices are beeing used in combination with bluetooth barcode scanners for order picking.
However we are experiencing alot of problems with the bluetooth connection between the phone and the barcode scanner.
The bluetooth connection is beeing disconnected after a few minutes of use.
This problem does not occure with other phones we are using.
It is very annoying for the users to reastablish the bluetooth connection every few minutes in order to do their job.
We would like to switch to use the blackview phones however with the current issue we can't do this.
We have applied all the solutions that are given in this thread however non of them provide a solution.

I tried to contact blackview thru http://www.blackview.hk/contact-us/ and filled in the all the textboxes unfortunatly this does not work :( i get some chinese text that google translate says the email cannot be send.

Please provide us with a solution that actually works.

Kind regards,

AlexT

Are you sure that you strictly followed the workarounds that have been posted in this thread?
I'll sum them up again:

0) Update you device to the latest firmware and perform a factory reset after that

1) Disable battery optimization for every bluetooth service as
- Bluetooth MIDI service
- BT Tool
- Bluetooth sharing

and for every app that will need to use bluetooth to transmit data as
- Phone
- Phone services
- Call management
- Phone/Messaging storage
- your music player
- other telephone dialer apps and so on.
- EXPECIALLY THE APP THAT YOU ARE USING TOGETHER WITH BT BARCODE SCANNERS

2) If the previous step doesn't solve your issue, ALSO disable the "Standby intelligent power saving" setting and disable Duraspeed.

3) If the previous step doesn't solve your issue, ALSO set your device into "High performance mode"

I am pretty positive that we've followed all the steps.
However I will be on location tomorrow and can retest everything.
I will let you know

OK ;)

Remember also to whitelist your scanner's app in the "background task clear" setting

Glad that it worked as expected ;)
I know that an official fix should come, and it will come, but in the mean time it's not difficult to follow some little steps to change some apps battery saving and background activity settings ;)
