I simply went to Camera Pro mode and adjusted the White Balance to one notch to the right of center. Bingo!

Thanks for your help! Can you confirm your solution by posting 2-3 photos showing the difference?

So, for the moment, we have 3 temporary fix for this problem:

1) Flash the Dogee S60 ROM as these users suggest (NOT recommended at the moment!)

I have tried Doogee S60 ROM. Pictures taken have the right colors, red is red not pink. This is software issue which can be solved quickly. This problem exist from the device sale launch. It's a big shame.

I can confirm the red problem is solved with the doogee s60 rom ported to bv8000 pro.
Also the touch sensitivity is a lot better!

2) Use the Open Camera App instead of the stock camera app.

3) Adjust the "white balance" setting in Camera pro mode of the stock camera app.

Everything will be sent to the tech team for a permanent fix! Thanks for your precious help guys! ;)

I don't know anything more about that rom, but it firmly don't reccomend porting a rom (and maybe problems) made for a different phone just to fix a simple bug that can be temporary fixed by using another (and better than stock) camera app!

Originally from 4pda.ru, created by high valued community user serg2327.
It does not support fingerprint and NFC probably. Seems to be working faster than blackview rom but might be placebo effect.

I never said I would flash it (just have a look inside this ROM).
Fact is, while BV8000 Is a good hardware, software is not mature enough to fully use hardware (too bad). So a little software exploration could help :)

BV8000Pro_blackview_20171114_tee to fix your problem, please remember that after this flash, you can not flash back to the former software, or your phone will have problem.
