I not seen any of my replies posted yet. I read one blackview phone description somewhere and it said camera had a blue lens, I can't remember why it had one so software ain't going to help,! If you shine light at the camera you should see kind of irredecent blue sheen. Hope helps, though not the best news

Did anyone try a different camera app to see if it's related to the camera app or the camera drivers? My BV8000 is yet to come (it's supposed to arrive next Friday) but this is quite intriguing. On my previous phone, I mostly used Snap Camera in HDR mode, and maybe this could help. It's a paid app, but there's a trial version available on Google Play. Maybe someone could try. It's a pity a Samsung camera sensor is ruined by a bad software or driver. I used to have a phone with Samsung camera a few years back, and it took very nice photos.

I also made a few pictures and can confirm, that other camera apps, like Open Camera, show a more intense red, wich only shifts into pink near direct reflections from the flash.

As MB242 said, it's not a hardware issue, but a software problem: You have to rework the algorithms of your camera app.

Did anyone solve the red/pink issue?
I have the same problem: BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803_20170906-1035.
Are there any official or third-party app for circumventing this problem, while the blackview engineers are trying to solve the problem in the firmware?

best
