You may try to perform a factory reset from the recovery menu as showed here:

As was the same for me... But im thinking the board may have malfunctioned causing problems further down the line. Now that it has been replaced you can rule it out as a problem. And a reflash brought it back to life for me.

“My battery just came in today, but given that I've basically only got one shot at this, can you tell me how to get the phone to boot in to recovery mode when it isn't turning on? My PC doesn't recognize it either.“

With the drivers installed! your pc dose not recognise the device? and there's no changes at all in device manager?

Same problem. At one point the phone turned off and refused to turn on. When the power button is pressed, the approach indicator flashes red, but nothing happens. When you connect the charger, the charge indicator lights up and the approach indicator flashes nearby. Installed the driver, but the computer still does not see the smartphone. Does not even display in the Task Manager. I checked the battery - 4.2V. Charging too. How is the total replacement of the motherboard? Is it available separately? After all, if there was a problem with the power, the computer still saw the smartphone.

Hello, I have the same problem as the video. Drivers installed on the pc, but does not recognize it when plugging in the usb even if you press the buttons. Connecting the usb turns on the power led and the other led always falshes, if I press power + vol- for approximately 15 seconds all the leds turn off. It is the only response i get by pressing buttons. 
Support does not respond to emails is a shame.
Could you fix the fault ???. I no longer know where to look for help
