I have just received my new BV8000 Pro. Overall I am very pleased with it, particularly build quality, design and the purity of Android 7.0.

Unfortunately however both cameras are taking very low resolution photographs which are very blurry. The main (back) camera is particularly bad and the results are nowhere near 16MP - photographs are probably not even VGA quality. This is completely unacceptable.

Using other camera applications from the Play store does not resolve the issue.

Reading the other comments here, this is obviously a driver issue which urgently needs to be sorted by issuing a firmware patch. At the moment the main camera on the BV800 is basically unusable/not fit for purpose and the phones should not even be allowed to be shipped with this problem as they are simply not performing as described.

Please sort this out.

the same problem with camera. It is like 8 MP, not 16 and not 21.

Dear Blackview, I have this problem too with my brand new BV8000. I will try it resolve with the seller.

Same issue here, pictures are blurry around the edges and sides, overall quality is ok, image looks fine in the preview

Please send a solution for this. We all are being disappointed with the camera.

The hardware is fine, as taking picture with manual focus works (withs apps like Camera FV-5). There is an issue with the camera HAL and/or firmware.

16 megapixels camera, and 8 megapixels camera, but the photos are looking less then Vga... Please do an update to fix this issue, also, waze is not working, I really liked this phone, just bought it, but it looks like a bad deal...
